p53 topical
INGN 234 is a mouthwash formulation of Introgen’s p53 tumor suppressor therapy and is being tested for the prevention of oral cancers and the treatment of oral leukoplakia. Leukoplakia lesions appear as white patches in the lining of the mouth and occur in large numbers of the adult population.
